A matched pair of astronaut gloves like this has never been offered for sale, to our knowledge. Designed for astronaut Ed Lu, these Phase VI restraint layer gloves originate directly from NASA’s Johnson Space Center and arrive in their original sealed inventory bags.
Designed to fit over the bladder layer that maintains internal oxygen pressure, they prevent ballooning and offer a precise fit with visible metal pulley restraints. Kevlar patches reinforce the fingertips to enhance durability and tactile feedback. A white thermal cover layer with finger heaters would have originally covered these gloves to provide added protection.

Both gloves remain sealed in NASA artifact bags and include original inspection tags, updated mission 911 documentation, and a parts manifest.
