Antique Scarab Beetle Brooch 14k Gold Imperial Russia Ruby Bug Pin 2″

$7,450

This beautiful gold beetle brooch is an intricate treasure from Imperial Russia. Echoing the craftsmanship of Fabergé during the pre-revolutionary period of the early 1900s. Sculpted from 14k yellow gold, the design showcases a chalcedony cabochon forming the scarab’s abdomen, while seed pearls delicately decorate the thorax and head. The mandibles grasp a luminous pearl at the brooch’s tip, accented with pink sapphires and additional seed pearls for a vibrant finish. Bezel-set demantoid garnets form the beetle’s expressive eyes, flanked by a ruby between them.

Complete with original hallmarks, this gold beetle brooch is a one-of-a-kind heirloom that offers symbolic charm, historical significance, and refined artistry.
